Disc Makers Manufacturing Face Sheilds in Pandemic
Normally focused on serving indie artists in music manufacturing, Disc Makers has come to aid the medical field amidst the current COVID-19 Pandemic. Factory workers have switched gears and are now using facilities and supplies to create face shields. The change is helping provide added supplies to a US shortage of PPE materials. Production has also helped maintained employment for workers during the country's unexpected economic downturn. Tony Van Veen, CEO of the New Jersey based company, says Disc Makers is making their face shield supplies available at cost. The company is still serving independent music artists, and is known for their quality production and customer service.
